Gregory D. Moseley first joined Sorling Northrup in May 2026 as an associate attorney.

Mr. Moseley, a Springfield native, served in the United States Navy after high school. Following his time in the Navy, he attended Southern Illinois University–Carbondale where he earned a B.S. in Mathematics in 2009. He earned his Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2014. While in law school, he wrote for the Journal of Legal Medicine.

Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Moseley worked for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) as both a patent examiner and a primary patent examiner from 2016 until he left the USPTO in late 2025.

Mr. Moseley is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois, having been admitted to practice in 2014.
