Aaron D. Evans

Aaron D. Evans began his practice in 2011 and focuses in the areas of estate planning, business, real estate, and tax. Aaron is experienced in sophisticated planning for high-net-worth estates and closely-held businesses. He regularly advises clients on wealth-preserving strategies using trusts, limited liability companies, and other devices. Aaron assists families and fiduciaries with postmortem decisions, tax planning, and administration of trusts and estates. He also counsels business owners in the process of founding companies, transacting business, and transferring ownership, including complex acquisitions and mergers. Aaron is versed in federal tax law and also practices in the sale, leasing, and tax-deferred exchange of agricultural and commercial real estate.

Aaron is a frequent speaker on estate planning and has written numerous articles on the topic, including an article published by the Illinois Bar Journal discussing advanced tax and succession planning with trusts. He has also served on the Illinois State Bar Association Trusts and Estates Section Council. Aaron earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he completed dual majors in economics and finance with a concentration in business management. He then earned his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating in the top five percent of his class.
