C. Clark Germann

Clark Germann affiliated with Sorling Northrup in 1975, following two years as a law clerk to Illinois Appellate Court Judge Leland Simkins and one year as Director of Research for the Illinois Appellate Court for the Fourth District of Illinois. He graduated from Illinois College with honors (B.S. in Economics, 1967) following two years in the U.S. Army, and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois School of Law (1972), where he was a member of the Order of the Coif.

Mr. Germann concentrates his practice in corporate, real estate, transactional, and municipal law. He has represented several municipalities and serves as outside general counsel to a national railroad service contractor overseeing its contracts, risk management, state sales and use tax matters, real and personal property leases, and acquisition of related or subsidiary businesses. He served 17 years as an elected member of a local school board.
