Thomas H. Wilson joined Sorling, Northrup, Hanna,
Cullen & Cochran, Ltd. in 1991 after completing a two-year clerkship
with Judge Richard Mills, U.S. District Judge for the Central District
of Illinois, Springfield Division.
Mr. Wilson is a native of Pennsylvania. He served as the Editor-in-Chief
of the Southern Illinois University Law Journal in 1988-89, and
has authored two law review articles on real estate law.
Mr. Wilson concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, including public utility, banking, insurance, construction, civil rights and employment, intellectual property, and trusts and estates, as well as the defense of personal injury claims including malpractice and general tort liability claims. Mr. Wilson practices extensively in numerous state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels. He has successfully represented firm clients in several reported state and federal cases involving multi-million-dollar claims.
Mr. Wilson is a member of the Defense Research Institute, a Barrister in the Lincoln-Douglas Inns of Court, a Leading Lawyer in the areas of Appeals and Commercial Litigation, and was appointed by the federal court as a member of the Central District of Illinois’ Committee on Local Rules.
