Philip E. Hanna became an associate of the firm in 1945 and a partner in 1952.
He is now of counsel. His practice is concentrated in the areas of labor, probate,
and tax law.
He has served as Chairman of the Illinois State Bar Association
Committee on Labor Law. Mr. Hanna has taught probate law at the
University of Illinois at Springfield (formerly, Sangamon State
University). He has served as legal counsel to the bishop of the
central Illinois conference of a major protestant religious denomination
since 1980.
Mr. Hanna received his undergraduate degree from Cornell College,
Mt. Vernon, Iowa (1942) and his law degree from the University
of Michigan (1945). He has served as president of various charity
and civic organizations.
Mr. Hanna concentrates his practice in the following areas:
