Michael C. Connelly joined Sorling, Northrup, Hanna,
Cullen & Cochran, Ltd. in 1985 on graduation from law school,
and concentrates his practice in taxation, real estate, commercial
transactions, estate planning, and probate.
Mr. Connelly’s practice includes complex commercial
real estate transactions, tax-free exchanges, stock sales, asset
sales, reorganizations, tax audits, tax administrative hearings
and cases, estate planning, drafting of wills and trusts, transitional
planning for closely held family businesses, choice of entity planning
and formation of corporations, limited partnerships, limited liability
companies, and other entities. In addition, Mr. Connelly has lectured
on Illinois sales tax and estate planning for various groups and
organizations.
Mr. Connelly graduated from the University of Illinois
with highest honors as a Bronze Tablet Scholar.
