Gary A. Brown joined Sorling, Northrup, Hanna, Cullen & Cochran, Ltd. in 1984, and has practiced law in Springfield
since 1981. His practice is concentrated in workers' compensation,
eminent domain, public utilities regulation and Occupational Safety
and Health Administration (OSHA) issues. Mr. Brown is the author
of the popular book "Illinois Workers' Compensation Settlement

Mr. Brown has frequently litigated before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission and has prosecuted several workers' compensation appeals
before the Illinois Appellate Court for the Fourth District of
Illinois. He has extensive experience before the Illinois Commerce
Commission representing utility companies. He represents both
condemning parties and landowners in eminent domain cases.
Following his graduation from the University of Illinois, Mr.
Brown worked as an engineer for a public utility company for
three years
prior to attending law school.
